This year, I walk to remember my friend, Gigi, who passed August 2019. Cancer has touched all of our lives in some way. I have had family members who have battled it and succeeded. However, it wasn't until I met my foodie friend, Bernalyn "Gigi" Cabigas and subsequently lost her to cancer after 2.5 short years of friendship, that I truly understood the horror and isolation of the battle. Michelle's Place is one of few places that gives people hope and resources to support them in their time of need. I challenge 20 of my friends and family to MATCH my commitment of $25 to Michelle's Place & walk with me during the week of May 10th!
