Join us for the Walk of Hope

Join us as we walk for HOPE!

Our Annual Walk of Hope will be a day to remember! Join us to walk and stay and enjoy entertainment, a vendor and resource fair, and raffle prizes!

Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center serves over 2,000 individuals (and their circle of care) each year. This is the day we come together to show the world that No One Faces Cancer Alone!

Bring a team of family and friends to walk in honor or in memory of a loved one who has experienced cancer.

FAQs for the Walk of Hope:

Q: Where is the 2023 Walk of Hope?

A: The Walk will take place at The Promenade Mall, 40820 Winchester Rd., Temecula, CA 92591

Q: Where do I park?

A: Parking is available in the multi-story parking garage. Please only park in the parking garage to allow for open parking of mall tenants and customers later in the morning.

Q: How do I avoid road closures?

A: Enter the mall from Ynez Rd., turning onto Overland Dr. Enter Ring Rd. and follow the road around to the parking garage.

Q: Where and when is Registration?

A: Registration opens at 7:00am and will be located near Lucille's. Volunteers will help guide you from parking to registration!

Q: Is Day of Registration available?

A: If someone is not able to register before the online registration deadline of midnight on 10/19, they can register day-of at the Registration tables. Registration will accept cash, check, or credit card payment.

Q: Where do I pick up a t-shirt?

A: T-shirts are first come, first served, at Registration.

Q: How long is the walk and where does it take place?

A: The walk is approximately one mile long and takes place along Ring Rd. The start/finish line is next to Lucille's BBQ, exits to Ring Rd. up to Promenade Way W., and returns to Lucille's BBQ.

Q: What time does the Walk start?

A: The program will begin at 8am and the walk will begin immediately after the last welcome announcement at approximately 8:30am.

Q: Is the event dog friendly?

A: The Walk is dog friendly and we have a "Cutest Dog" competition! Dress up your pup and be sure to stop by the Yard Fresh station in the staging area to enter your dog into the competition!

Q: Are there Contests that I can enter?

A: There are four contests, each will receive an award.

  • Cutest Dog (judging takes place at the Yard Fresh station in the staging area)
  • Most Team Spirit (judges will be watching for the team with the most team spirit!)
  • Most Fundraised (will be determined prior to the Walk)
  • Biggest team (will be determined prior to the start of the Walk)

Q: What other activities are available after the walk?

A: We're so glad you asked! Here are some fun activities for participants, through 1:00pm:

  • Food, face painting, coffee, and a dog area in the staging area, just past Registration! Vendors will be handling their own payments and pricing individually.
  • Vendor/Resource Fair with 40+ booths
  • Raffle Prizes- tickets will be on sale in the vendor fair
  • Scavenger hunt for the kids!
  • Photobooth station
  • VIP area for anyone who is a Survivor/Fighter. Please note that the VIP area is for survivors, thrivers, or fighters. Due to capacity and fire code, we cannot welcome everyone into this special area.
